I tried to add a site to my p25 system so i could access the thresholds and i locked out the 2nd one but when i load it to the scanner its mute as in no sound but full bars T shows constant, is there anything else in software that needs to be done???

Never had a problem when I did it on 2 radios, a 1080 and 1095. Just put a dummy site on and locked it out.

I can't prove it, but I always assume that various scanner software imports hidden data associated with the TRSs. Therefore, I always import the entire TRS, duplicate it, and rename the new TRS. Then, delete any unwanted TGs and Sites. Then I add the "dummy" site using the software, and leave it alone (Site 002, no frequencies). I've never tried to import a single Site. Also, the original imported complete TRS can be used repeatedly (duplicated/renamed) as desired. For my local TRS, I have one original imported, and seven dupe's, set up for use in different locations. Also, my best settings were 95 high, 15 low.

Did you get this figured out? Is anyone talking? Do you have talk groups programmed? You might try a wildcard so you'll catch more traffic. From what you describe, it sounds like you are getting a good control channel decode.
