Hope I’m in the correct thread. I was a scanner guy years ago whn their banks frequencies and talk ids.Trying the Whistler 1080 out and I’m having a crazy time programming Tampa fl Hillsborough county sheriff department as East and west and in two separate scan list. Each time I do this I program through ezscan East in scanlist 01 works perfect yet once I program West next into scanlist 02 then East goes completely quiet. I’ve been trying different methods for 2 weeks now. No luck! Anyone know what I could be missing here? Thank you someone?

Sounds like you are trying to program the system twice. You can only put each system in once through the Library Import. Couple of options, one is program the Talkgroups for EAST and WEST into two scanlists, second manually enter (suggest using duplicate on right side of EZ Scan System tab) the system/sites make original one and duplicate another.

UPDATE: Looking at the system, you will need to use option 2 since the EAST/WEST are sites not TGs. Keep in mind any future changes through library import will only be done on the original system, you must manually add TGs in the duplicate system.

I want to thank you for your help you guys here are pro’s and better than those who actually make the scanners. If you ever have a problem the answers are from the seasoned users. I’m getting older and scanners has really changed since I was younger and as I stated I used to program the Uniden pro 93 - 97 a lot easier. In the early 90s 56 now and this did work and it was making me think my age seems to complicate my ability to understand the technology. Want to say thank you fir your helping me make since of it all and problem solved. Have a great Thanksgiving. You guys are appreciated
