I have ran into a curious issue while monitoring a local Hytera XPT DMR system. It is a 5 repeater system that serves our local area (and is somewhat busy). There appear to be multiple TG's for each user, to wit:
Freq TG Text Tag UID's Logged
463.525 1048617 Unknown B g17 2406
463.425 2097193 Unknown B g93 2401, 2404, 2406, 2409, 2410
461.450 4194345 Unknown B g45 2401, 2403, 2404, 2406, 2409,2410
These are the same user - not only are the UID's identical, but the traffic is the same. I have monitored a conversation starting out on one TG and then moving to another TG, and then back to the original TG. I do note that the frequency did change as well.
I have not been able to find anything about this on here, and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this as well. I do have the DMR upgrade for my Uniden, and it sometimes shows the same TG but other times it displays TG 41 for the above user.
Bottom line is - does the TG change on a Hytera XPT system depending on which repeater is being used?
