WS1098: Have been monitoring a p25 trunked system for a while, and lately the S keeps flashing up top instead of the T. I recently reloaded the system through EZ scan, and it worked again and T (trunked) flashed like normal. Now, its back still flashing S and very rarely the T. Any suggestions? Not sure if the SD card is corrupt or not. I have reformatted the card also

Are you in Florence Al?
Under normal conditions the S shows up for DMR or NXDN traffic.
You have some DMR just north of you in Tn.

Sorry I see NW AL as the Florence area. But back to the S when mine sees DMR or NXDN traffic I see the S.
You might want to get you a new SD card just remember the card size limit 32GB and the larger the card the longer the boot time.

Use windows error checking tool on the card ( google it) For new cards I only use Sandisk 8gb CLASS 4 card, I get them on amazon for less then $7 shipped. They ALWAYS work where others may not be compatible with the scanner.

It seems to me that the Jefferson Co Simulcast site has more frequencies that it used to. Double check that you have the correct control channel and alternate frequencies entered.

I double checked with old information and found that the Jefferson Co Simulcast site increased from 10 to 20 frequencies in the RR database. One of the alternate frequencies was 856.1875 and is no longer in use as an alternate. The alternate frequency was changed to the existing frequency of 857.1875. If the new alternate frequency were used, that could account for your loss of the trunking system.
