WSJT-X receives FT-8 just fine, but it will not key the IC-7100 to transmit. I am using the version 2.0 beta software on a Windows 10 HP laptop and Icom IC-7100 transceiver with (or without) a Rigblaster Advantage sound card. This combination works fine with legacy JT-65 software using either the Advantage or the computer sound card., but only receives and decodes FT-8 but does not transmit.
One error message states there is a communications error receiving the frequency from the IC-7100 with a reference to Com 3. The Windows Device Manager shows a USB Bridge to UART using both Com 3 and Com 4. Another error message just states a communication error without naming any port. I have the baud rate set to 19200 on both devices.
Is there a way in WSJT-X to access unused Com ports? Or vice versa to move off the Win10 ports?............
