what district # patrols the Snoqualmie pass area?
And is it like Ellensburg or do they identify as a Snoqualmie unit?

I have a question on the WSP. I frequently hear dispatch (D5 Kelso), hardly ever, if ever hear the units themselves, for example when they do a poll to check status of units, I only hear dispatch, never the units responding. Do they respond on another frequency?

So keep in mind, Kelso detachment frequency is a channel where sometimes you’ll hear just dispatch, And other times, You’ll hear both sides, Both sides is usually when the trooper is close to you, Or, The trooper is in a good signal spot and his signal is wide range. The Cowlitz Area for Kelso Wsp is not a great area for Wsp digital signal, Given the hilly terrain. Wsp did not implement their system well at all when they switched over, Especially around Cowlitz. They rushed the switch and even my buddies in Wsp will tell you it’s horrible. The area I am at, Fortunately I run a large outdoor antenna and get very good reception with my radio.
