I monitor it with a BCD396T. I use ARC396Pro software to program it and for computer control.

depends on how you have the scanner set...scan or search. in search it will show any ID unless it's locked out.

I use the Pro-96 with Starrsoft software. I do get some minor distortion on the Berkely site, but still am able to copy the transmissions. The Jefferson site comes in much better. I import the systems and the talkgroups from Radioreference into the software, then download it directly it into the radio. That sure saves a lot of time and typing. It took me a while to learn the process, but was well worth it.
