I am interested in tracking weather balloons launched twice daily. I have conflicting information about the frequency used in the Fort Worth, TX launch site. I have heard both the 400 and 1680 MHz range. Does anyone know what frequency they are using, and the model of radiosonde?

Thank you,

Thank you, SurgePGH. I have emailed this station and two others for help getting started, but none have replied.

Having the frequency helps!!!!!

Of course not, the NWS wants nothing to do with whackers. Not saying you are, but you tend to come off like one when you send out of touch emails like that. Just use the SondeHub website to track and if you ever want to give it a try at receiving yourself and potentially forwarding to the network you can check out the GitHub page for that. There's a Python program on there that will let you autotrack anything in that 400 MHz range with a compatible SDR.
