Technicians have been setting up and testing the Mills (Casper) site this week. Control channel activity with both DAT and sometimes LNK displays has been noted on both 150.7825 and a new frequency 154.585. Some voice heard, mostly just the Can You Hear Me Now type, but one instance of link testing, with statements like: OK, this is through 3 link sites, how now? The BCD-396 shows a system ID of 01A4h-0219, but no talk group ID's. When I drove by the site yesterday, there were 7 vehicles parked there, this morning there were none so maybe they have moved on to another site. The system is not up today.
