Checking to see if either Buffalo or Riverton are active on Wyolink?
If so what would be a good tower site and active talkgroups.
A ham/scanner friend of mine will be in one of the areas around Christmas, so trying
to get some info for him.
Thanks in advance!

Is there a better map that shows the specific location for each site for the Wyo-link like we have for the DTRS in Colorado???

Riverton Wyolink

As of today (12/15), all communications in/around Riverton are still on the old analog channels. I haven't heard any activity on Wyolink here yet.

Fremont County Wyolink

I have heard discussions now on SALECS that their radios are in the process of being programmed to support Wyolink. In addition, while monitoring the Copper Mountain tower with Pro96com, I have noticed an increase in tower activity. Talkgroup 14902 seems to be dominant.

I am therefore going to assume, including the mention on the main Wyolink thread of the FCSO switching to Wyolink soon, that we will soon be active on Wyolink in Fremont County.

I'll keep you posted.
