Apparently Wyoming County officials didn't learn from the problems that PSP was having with 800 MHz
They plan to run p-25 on an 800 MHz trunked system and were just issued frequencies--the MAJOR problem for PSP was a lack of coverage because of the rugged terrain. Guess what they call Wyoming County? The home of the "endless mountains"
I have written the County Commissioners and the director of the 911 center. I believe 800 Mhz in those mountains will jeopardize officers and the publics safety.
