Yesterday I heard a Tech key up and tell the dispatch of Wyoming Co. police that the Horsecreek tower that had been down was fixed and back working. Now I have tried to find the information on this tower that would be located on the lower end of Wyoming Co. between Baileysville and Hanover. So my question is does any person have any information on this tower so I can add this to my system? I know I heard them correctly. Horsecreek is also known as Horsecreek Lake but is really just an oversized pond.

I'm not aware of a new Wyoming tower. But that doesn't mean one does not exist. And it might be actually inside another county.

There is no FCC license for a new SIRN site in that area though.

You may want to scan between 454 - 455 Mhz and see if you find any new P25 control channels active tht do not belong to an existing site.

I wonder if they were really referencing Twin Falls / Pineville / Saulsville (all one site -- in DB called Twin Falls), which originally had "temporary" 454 mhz frequencies assigned to it but recently had a new license issued for a 453 mhz and a 460 mhz freq.

People in the Twin Falls area might want to look at the frequencies for the Twin Falls site in the DB and see if the control channel for that site is still on 454 mhz, or if it moved to the new 453 or 460 mhz freq.

Thanks for the help. I will take it. They were speaking of a tower at Horsecreek on rt 971. Maybe it is an old tower not a new tower. I do not know. I guess all I can do is like you had said and that is to do a search. You know more than I do and more than likely you are 100% right. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND EVERYONE.
