Does anyone have EMA's 800mhz frequency, and the Tunkhannock Area High School's new frequency?

Welcome to RR. I monitor new licenses for Wyoming, and haven't seen anything for these recently. I just did a check for past few years, and still nothing.
.
PMEA is on 800 Starnet, which can not be monitored. I would be a little surprised if the county EMA went that way(800Mhz), considering the terrain, unless they can utilize Starnet, in addition to the more reliable VHF.

As for the High School, many schools end up on the UHF LTR trunking systems around the area, and that would not require a license. They usually go with a center loaded UHF antenna, so take a look at what you see for an antenna.

Thanks for the reply. For EMA, they will normally talk on our VHF frequencies, but sometimes they'll say "Switch over to the 800mhz, so I was just wondering. Also with the high school, they have VHF Kenwood radios, for school to school use, and school to county dispatch use in case of emergency. I'm a senior in the high school, and I was just wondering, maybe one day I'll use the Signal Stalker on one of my scanners to see if I can find it, same with the 800mhz.

I have this in my files: 153.5075 repeater Tunkhannock Area School District input 158.3625. If that is what they use, you would get the input on signal stalker.

It is entirely possible that the county EMA has OpenSky radios installed in their vehicles.

All the regional task forces have purchased some caches of 800MHz radio equipment that works on the state system. Down this way, I have seen 800MHz OpenSky radios installed in a variety of county owned vehicles. For instance, Bucks Co Health Dept and EMA both have some vehicles with STARNET radios installed. The radio I took a look at in the health dept vehicle had the regional task force profile and the two statewide interop profiles on it...just generic interop talkgroups for potential use as interop between counties in this region.

If those are health dept radios probably have statewide hospital interop talkgroups in them.

Sorry to blow the dust off of this thread, but I was wondering if anyone has the Wyoming County Jail Frequencies. They use Mototrbo and HT1000 radio's. And I'm guessing they are probably on VHF, since the rest of the county is. Thanks.
