Unknown Situation involving PD, PD Dispatcher, and suspects/victims
Park Rd. in area of A-Plus and T.G.I. Friday's (Btwn. N. Wyomissing Blvd. and Van Reed Rd.)
151.1900 Wyomissing Borough Police
Wyomissing PD called in 3 extra patrol officers due to this incident, also called in Bern Twp. (54) units to help at scene. Incident itself has been very hush-hush. Relief dispatcher for dispatcher on duty at 2250 is main witness at incident, so disp. on duty will be staying late. Also, hospital called and asked for suspect/victim OLN (operator's license number).
Can anyone shed some light on this one? Robbery? Shooting? PD involved shooting?
Reading Eagle and WFMZ have nothing on it yet, and they usually post their breaking news from scanner reports.
UPDATE: 2328hrs - Evidence Tech on location, asked to go between 6th and Oley and the A-Plus. ET says it is roped off, so patrol officer tells ET to go from 6th to N. Wyomissing Blvd. and he'll be let in that way.
UPDATE: 2323hrs - PD asking for ETA on evidence technician. Still nothing on local news services.
