Wythe County Fire

I have noticed that the Wythe County Fire channels have been put into the big E my scanner gets it all encrypted. Is this true, or is just my scanner being stupid?

He lists them on the bottom of his message. That's irrelevant if they have gone encrypted he won't hear the on anything. The question was "Have they gone encrypted"?

As far as RR shows, they are DMR but not encrypted. If you have the optional DMR firmware upgrade added to your SDS100 or BCD536HP scanner it should work. However, if they just switched on the encryption, the database may not have been updated yet.
