Xcel Energy
We were discussing the Xcel system at the meeting yesterday. They are going to be switching to APCO P25, but I don't know if they have switched yet. I would suggest that you program all of those channels in and try monitoring them in a conventional manner. If they are still analog trunked, you will hear them, but you won't trunk track them. If that is the case, go back and program it as a Motorola analog trunked system.
If they are received on the scanner, but are APCO P25, you should see that on your display. In fact, you should even be able to determine the NAC Code. In that case, program it as a Motorola P25 system.
It is possible that it is an APCO P25 Type II system and, in that case, your scanner will not be able to follow it. Try the above and post back hear. We should be able to help further.
