• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know how much a sirius radio and nfl package would cost?

I bought the Audiovox model a year ago for $150 and I pay 13 and some change per month. You could probably find some deals on the web for cheaper models.

You are right, needs to go to the tavern.

But I have a Sirius receiver my wife paid like $50 for new from Wal-Mart. And the cost is about $12 or $13 per month. I love my Sirius.

Sirius is also getting NASCAR in 2007 if that is of any use to you.
