I recently won an auction of several used UHF (Low) XPR series radios from an ambulance service that had gone out of business. Most of the radios have the "green band" antenna which, as I understand it, covers 435-470; some have a "red band" which I understand to cover 403-435; and one in particular has an "orange band" which I've never seen before.
Any insight into what band-split the "orange band" covers? Is this just a (faded) red antenna?
In our area, were primarily on the lower side of the 400 spectrum which will likely necessitate the replacement of the "green band" antennas with "red band" ones - but I'm curious about this "orange band" one.
Thanks!
