Good evening, I have two XTL5000 O5 high power decks one vhf, one uhf that has an annoying audio pop/thump. The problem is present anytime a button is pressed on the radio or whenever the radio received audio. The button still beeps and the audio is heard; meaning if I push a button for an option. The radio pop>beep>pop , if a signal is received; pop>signal audio>pop , if the signal is on the fringe you get pop, pop, pop and a mixture of audio..you can see by now how annoying this can be.
I did a search and found some known issues with the Spectras back in the day. I also say some mention about doing a firmware update and correcting the defect. Any ideas? The 7/800 Xtl doe not have the defect. Thank you in advance.

Can anyone help out with this one? I have seen some mentions of a problem back in the day with thumping on the Spectra line. The weird thing is both of my HP decks are doing it but my O5 7/800 is not, clean as a whistle…thank you in advance
I tried to upload the video but it wouldn’t work out. I uploaded it to YouTube. Here is the link

Note: I do have all 3 of the radio speakers wired through a ground loop isolator and then through a mobile mixer and then to a Motorola amplified speaker. This allows me to have multiple inputs on one speaker.
