Yaesu 7800 failure

I have a situation that I am looking for a little help with. I have a yaesu 7800 that I had an accident with. was pulling wires and they both hot bare metal.( fire works) the fuses did not blow I have down loaded a program to set it up. I cannot receive hardly anything. and cannot transmit very weakly on 1 channel and I am near the repeater. do you think it is time for a new set?
