Yaesu accessories compatibility

I'm looking for a speaker/mic for my Yaesu FT-60 and have found some on Ebay for the FT-60R. Are these compatible with the FT-60? Are there other models that have compatible accessories?

The FT-60R is the official model number, but most people drop the R and just call it the FT-60.

Any Yaesu mic with the "3 black band / 4 conductor" plug will work. I bought a VX-1R off eBay and it came with the MH-34 mini speaker/mic. It also works in my FT-60(R).

Yaesu also makes an adapter for a variety of the traditional 2 pin style spkr.
