Yaesu AR-DV10 vs AOR AR-DV10

Is there a difference between these two radios or are they actually the same radio?

A local store advertises both these radios but the Yaesu version is on sale and $600 cheaper.

I was wondering the same thing since Yaesu's FTA-550 & 750 air band radios are the same exact form factor. The AR-DV10 is featured on Yaesu's website here so perhaps they manufacture them with the AOR label?

I took a look at my DV10 just now . Though there's no mention of Yaesu on the product label, it is made in Japan...

Yaesu sells the radio, but it is branded AOR. So, only one radio that is made by AOR. Sounds like Yaesu wanted a product in this space, AOR had one so Yaesu also distributes the radio.

As far as I know all recent all AOR products are produced by others and badged AOR..

I can save a substantial amount purchasing the Yaesu version which is currently on sale but wanted to make sure that the firmware updates that AOR is posting would work. I've seen some of the reports about the quality of this receiver and I would rather not pay full price for it.

I checked out the manual and it's word for word the same as AOR's.
