Hello.
Please, could you tell me how I can DELETE just one Memory from the Yaesu FT-1500?
Thanks.

Hello friends.

Please, could you tell me how to DELETE just one Memory from the Yaesu FT-1500?

I know it is possible to "Mask/Hide", but I would like to know how to permanently erase a Memory from this Ft-1500.

Thanks.

Based on what I see in the manual, you can't delete a memory, but you can mask a memory so that the channel is not visible.

You could do a Master Reset, but that would erase all memories:

Greetings,
It is quite easy to overwrite an FT1500M channel memory slot but it is not explained in the user manual. The slick firmware design makes it easier to manually program multiple memory channels by automatically advancing to the next empty channel number whilst skipping over any channels that are already programmed. This prevents accidentally overwriting a desired channel. But should you wish to change an existing channel on purpose that can be easily done without dramatic reset that would clear the entire channel memory bank and desired settings.

1) In "SETTINGS" mode make sure "CH NUM" is set to "ON" so it is easy to keep track of the channel numbers.
2) Enter and test the desired channel data in VFO mode.
3) Long press the "MW" button and hold it down. The next available blank channel number will be displayed with a "*" prefix.
4) Use the channel selector knob to select the target channel you wish to change and make note of the channel number.
5) Release the MW button then immediately short press MW button to overwrite the existing data in the target channel.
