Yaesu: YAESU FT-3DR ON DMR

Do you have any experience to use FT-3 on dmr?

İ ve used before my FT-2 on my hotspot for DMR connection.I can connect to hotspot without any issues but i cant change TG s or even tx fron new ft-3.

They are virtually identical so I would think programing the 3 the same as the 2 should work. Maybe someone who has done this can offer more help.

Any DMR programming would need to be done in the hotspot. Yaesu FT2's and 3's are System Fusion and have no DMR capability. Hotspots can be set up to do cross modes YSF, DMR, P25 etc, but it is the hotspot that does the conversion.

Thanks for all replys.

My hotspot has been programmed already for YSF.I m using with my FTM-400 clearly.But on FT-3DR theres something missing whilwm i TX or RX on radio.

The biggest thing that impacts Fusion to crossmode (YSF2DMR) or hotspot usage in general is the offset.

Watch your BER and you might have to adjust the offset per radio. Remember it has a Rx and Tx so a little testing might need to be done.
