Yaesu: Yaesu FT-50r help

I'm a new ham who got an FT-50r from a garage sale and it works fine but I can't figure out how to set the PL tones and I can't figure it out from the PDF owners manual I found online, or I look at it and don't realize that that is what I need. Can some one help me?

Also, on page 33 of the operator's manual, it states that you must have the optional FTT-12 keypad.
