Very much so. Their software is easy to use, intuitive and, for what you get, inexpensive. It'll run on almost any Windows computer. Highly recommended.

Grissgray, make sure you have the proper programming cable. My 8900 head is on the dash but the radio is under the front passenger seat. I travel a lot and change the programming to match the trip. I actually leave the programming cable plugged into the radio and tucked away under the seat also. When the time comes to reprogram, I simply pull the cable out and plug it into the computer. The radio stays hidden away.

The software won't recognize the cable,
I got the cable with the radio and ideas

Is the cable the RT Systems cable? The software works only with their cable.
