I have an FT-990DC and am the original owner. I've added the A/C power supply and would like to add to the stock 2.4 SSB filter. The installed filter is a 2.4Khz. I also have the Timewave DSP-59Y made for the unit in the SP6 speaker. I'd like to add a SSB filter and need help deciding which to buy. I believe choices are the Yaesu 2.0Khz XF-10.9M-202-01 2nf IF type -- the INRAD 2.1(455 3rd IF) - Inrad 2.0(2nd IF) - Inrad 1.8(455 3rd IF) - any others you'd suggest?
Goal is just to provide a little more narrow filtration to limit adj channel noise without using the DSP.
