I picked up a Ft-5200 at a hamfest a few years back that had the remote head already attached.
I downloaded a manual for it but the scan they did of the pages was not the best and I cant make out how to put the face back on without remote connection. Anyone have the info on this?

Thats what I have to.
Seems like something is missing in the text as it just cuts off without much detail of explanation

Based on my experience with numerous Yaesu mobiles with detachable controls and the illustration in the manual, it appears to me that it's similar in that there are a couple of sockets on the right side of the hear that latch into lugs on the body and then the head is rotated against the body until it latches on the left. Here are a couple of pictures showing what I'm talking about. This is on the Yaesu FTM-500, but it's the same basic system.

Here's a copy of the FT-5200 Technical Supplement. In a couple of places it describes how to remove the control head. Again, replacing it should be just the opposite.
