Yagi antenna setup and another homemade uhf antenna

all uhf , both yagis work perfect . hooked into stridsberg amp splitters.
home made uhf made from parts laying around , this thing receives great .
scanners only , no tx.

nothing wrong with that but why two uhf yaga's that look like they are facing the same direction?

2 different scanner setups , each antenna going into a different stridsberg amp splitter. both aimed at buffalo city hall antennas. here is my 2 setups attached.
