i was wondering if this antenna would be good for listening to a trunk system

I have that one and it works great for me on a P25 simulcast system. It has lot's of gain so I can get away with a tad loss in the coax line. Just remember to seal up the pigtail connector and it will last for years.

thanks for the photo......not to ask a stupid question, but i would expect it wont pick up lower bands very well?...i am just in a odd situation. i have a discone antanna but it wont pick up my local trunk well enough. i just dont want to set up multi antennas and switches and splitters. and since my scanner scans conventinaol and trunk, well you know.
