yagi or scantenna st-2

anyone know which is better I am wanting to try pick up a signal from El Paso County and I am in Otero county which is around 90 miles away and we do have a few 155Mhz old channels in my area dont think the yagi would be good for them old channels right now I am using the original extened antenna that came with my Pro-2096 for now. thanks for any info.

Are you trying to pick up El Paso County 800MHz system? If so I would recommend a directional band specific yagi fed with low loss coax would provide you the best gain, of course elevated the best you can.

Also can you receive the Cheyenne Mtn DTRS control channel? That site has great propagation to the eastern plains.
