I think you're referencing the MPT-1327 system that's been up for a while.
The freqs are here:

Anyone have an update regarding there system? They were to go live on Wed 4-16. I live on the East side of the state so I'm not able to hear them.

Changes for Fire?

I gather that McMinnville Fire has decided to stick with their trunked system (McMinnville Police as well??). I continue to hear other fire agencies on the UHF conventional repeaters but not Mac units working calls within their own district.

Yamhill county frequencies?

Does anyone have a better list of frequencies for Yamhill county than what is in the database here? I haven't seen any mention of the trunked Mac fire dept system anywhere in the database, and it looks like it's missing plenty of other stuff too..

EDIT: I stand corrected. McMinnville does have a trunked system for police / fire / EMS. I didn't see WPYJ327 in the DB until just a few minutes ago.

Digging around in FCC ULS, I see Yamhill County has a 800 MHz license.

Could that be it?
I did some research on that, and found this article:

http://www.newsregister.com/news/results.cfm?story_no=233552

That 800MHz system is either currently a link between McMinnville and Newberg, or will be soon. That's just a guess.

Finally, there was this note before the link for the MPT-1327 system disappeared from the DB:

Latest News Update Posted on 2008-04-21 19:05:22
The YCOM MPT-1327 System has been deactivated effective 4-16-08. YCOM has switched to a conventional system using the formerly trunked frequencies.
Emphasis mine. I can confirm this, too. 460.275 and 460.4125 of the former Site 3 in Newberg had police traffic a few nights ago. Nothing big, mind you, but it was there. The other frequencies I'm not sure about only because I never had them programmed into my scanner.

In case you didn't write them down, here they are:

Former Site 1 (McMinnVille)
460.03750
460.26250
460.33750
460.63750

Former Site 2 (Sheridan)
453.23750
453.33750
453.43750
453.63750
453.81250

Former Site 3 (Newberg)
460.05000
460.10000
460.18750
460.27500
460.41250

A final note: I've only been scanning for seven months now with a BC92XLT, so I'm not stating any of this information as "accurate" unless others come to the same or similar conclusions. I don't want anybody thinking I know what I'm talking about when I personally don't have a clue... ;)

I haven't had my scanner on at all today, but when I heard the traffic, it was at night. I'm going to reprogram it here in just a moment and leave it on for the next 24 hours. I'll see what I can come up with.

EDIT: 11:49PM: Traffic on 460.275...it was a little scratchy, so I couldn't tell what they were saying.
EDIT: 12:05AM: Traffic on 460.275 - It's definitely law...a unit was just dispatched to find an erratic driver. And just now, the officer asked dispatch for a 10-27. My guess is Yamhill County SO.

None at this time, and that may be due to my proximity (or lack thereof) to the nearest transmitter. I just don't get the traffic I would if I was living closer to Newberg or elsewhere in the County.

yea that would do it. There are a lot of good moblie antennas you can use for base antenna if you cant put on in air.

Just an update for everyone:

460.275 is YCOM YCSO Primary / Dispatch (and I'm guessing an INPUT freq)

460.4125 is also YCOM YSCO Primary / Dispatch, but a lot quieter and more static on both ends

163.250 is still YCOM Fire/EMS dispatch with tone-out!

That's all I know / have so far.

Attached below is a copy of all the licenses for Yamhill County, Sheridan Fire, West Valley Fire (Willamina & Grande Ronde), and Newberg Public Safety. I've been trying to parse the information into more readable info, but because of work and other constraints, I'm not finished yet.

YCOM "Common"

Having a chance Saturday to listen to various YCOM frequencies, I noticed activity on 460.1625 with a 14xx unit calling Station 82. I assume that was an OSP trooper trying to contact Newberg's dispatch center. They never responded but the unit said he was calling them on "Common". So, would this be a common frequency for all public safety agencies in the county such that they all have it programmed into their radios? And, I also heard a unit (I think it was a West Valley Fire duty officer) talking to another unit and mentioning that Lifeflight now has "Common" programmed into all of their radios and were using it for Saturday's incident. Hopefully, someone living in the county will be able to ascertain what the frequency designations are. I've heard in occasional scanning the apparent simulcast on several UHF frequencies for fire/ems responses. I assume that there are still "west", "central" and "east" designations in use.
