I am in need of the programming software for a FT8800. We have 3 of them at our EOC and misplaced the software. Do not want to buy from RT systems as we have cables for the radios and you have to buy their cabl. So if anyone would like to send me a disk or email a zipped file with the serial number I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You do realize RT Systems software calls home and they require a transfer of ownership, then on top of that, they limit the amount of times it will activate? Now we know why. Since you "misplaced the software" you could just easily send their support an email and recover your keys? Right.

I would suggest g4hfq's software. Bob use to sell it, but it is now free as he's retired. Better than CHIRP, without the cost of RT. I've used it for quite a few years on my FT-8900.

You are wrong, you do not have to buy it with cable. Options software and cable, cable only, or software only!
