First: Apologies. I know this item has been discussed ad-infinitum
Second: Explanation (Excuse?) I have Googled and searched for this information and am now more confused than when I started.

My ask is this...I have a BCD325P2. Can I pick up any frequencies at Walt Disney World next March?

Feel free to vent if so warranted.

Constructive replies also welcomed!

OP should also have a glance at the stickied thread about Florida's Scanner Law in this sub-forum just as an FYI. It's one of the reasons I decided to finally get my amateur radio license.

I have already read the sticky. Thanks for the suggestion though. Working on getting my amateur license as well. I find that some of the more technical questions are a bit intimidating.

I thought the law only applied to usage in vehicles?

True

Many visitors rent and drive vehicles while visiting the Mouse House. The elected leaders of Orlando and Orange County have failed to get a direct mass transportation solution in place between the airport and the theme parks.

Some use cabs, ridesharing, or buses to get around but there are lots of "out of town" drivers on the roads of Central Florida. Better to know about it than not. I've traveled a lot of places and it strikes me as an odd law.
