There has been a lot going recently - both with me personally and with Uniden. Both will be much improved in the very near future.

For me a surgery was involved to address an issue that has been going on for a long time, but that put a massive backlog on me including a trip to HQ and another one coming soon.

For Uniden, the Customer Support team will be much improved in a week or two and there is a massive revitalization underway.

I even missed a few The Scanner Guys episodes and I hated that, but one night I was enroute to HQ (literally) and ate dinner at about 11 PM (Eastern time) due to a weather-delayed flight. One night I had a meeting go longer than I expected although I was signed in to watch that episode. The other episode I missed was surgery day (I think I missed that one. I honestly do not remember, as I was on Hydrocodone). Please do not ask, as I do not care to talk about what the surgery was for other than to say it was to address pain that is now resolved. I had been trying to get that scheduled for many months but insurance companies love hoops.

But as the saying goes: The reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated.

Good to hear you are back at it! Glad the surgery went well and am awaiting with much interest an improvement regarding Uniden’s support after purchase!

Just saw this thread. Glad to hear that you're on the mend. Hopefully, with the delay since you posted, you have mended.

Uniden America NEEDS more than a MASSIVE revitalization.
Hope you get well soon Joe. And yes, INSURANCE companies are a nightmare so stay well buddy and let's address all the issues Radioreference members want resolved and CUT to the chase here!
Thanking you in advance as I myself don't have many quality issues but Uniden MUST step up to the plate.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery,

So... not a ham guy?

Lol

I come to you from the distant land of the CB forum. Would you by chance have the ear of the people that decide what CB's get made? We have some suggestions if they would only listen.

Thanks!
