Sounds like the BSA Scout Camp at Little Sioux, Iowa took a direct hit.
Mutual aid squads and LE units are responding along with front end loaders
and other heavy duty equipment. Could be lots of injuries. Sounds bad.

From what I understand roughly 40 injured persons. OMMRS has been activated.

This is one reason I miss Nebraska, you lucky bastards.

How are we lucky, getting hailed on, watching farmers crops get washed away, and tornadoes destroying people's house?

Not sure, but its too late for that right? I hope you're not going to tell me that out of all those responsible people not one person was smart enough or could think that hey were in severe weather season and we're in a tornado watch, perhaps we should take appropriate action now.

Its like the other night when people in Sarpy/Douglas were saying they didn't get enough warning time. The fact that the area was in a Tornado Watch all day and then a Severe Thunderstorm Watch into the night wasn't enough? What does the last line on a Severe Thunderstorm Watch say... "...severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce tornadoes..."
