All of the air assets were pulled off fire around 1500 due to extreme winds, 40-50 mph.
Tomorrow should be very busy if the conditions are OK for flying.
Several SEATS came in early but too windy, larger air tankers on fire were:

Pretty slow today with helos doing lots of bucket work all around, hitting hot spots. More ground crews on site.
Been pretty windy the past 2 days. Smoke plume definitely smaller today than the past.
Reported as 3,000 acres.
Air tankers have been flying out of Billings to SE toward Broadus for new fire.

Now at 4,483 acres, strong winds have really pushed the fire. Saturday/Sunday helos did lots of bucket work until winds got too
high and they got tired of being thrown around and went back to helo base.
Some rain has fallen on fire overnight. Pretty slow today, air to air and air to ground communication minimal.
Rain and snow forecast for the area.
