Yonkers FD info Engine 313

I attended the annual fire and EMS equipment trade show in Harrisburg PA in May, on display was a brand-new engine for Yonkers FD, engine "313". Of course, being the radio nerd, I checked the cab and installed radios. The unit had two mobiles, neither marked. I assume one being the primary YFD (484.00 ?) and the other is? Just curious if you local folks had knowledge of the specifics. I'm based out of NJ. Tried to upload the pics I took but the server would not accept them. You can PM me if your curious and I will share. I have several pics of the unit and cab.

Maybe the other is to communicate with 60 Control on the Westchester County P25 system.

I'd bet mutual aid / interop. They interact with a lot of other agencies. Could be VHF or P25. They need to interact with Westchester, Bronx, north Jersey, State Police and Thruway units. Almost surprised it's just two radios. Maybe they bought VHFs mobiles and some P25 portables

Mutual aid and former low band… Yonkers FD initial dispatch used to be on VHF low until they switched to 800mhz recently
