I see the TGs for the P2 system no longer include all of the County patches. Can I assume they are being eliminated and patches will be set up on the standard FG TGs?

They exist but are only on the consoles. Taking them out of end user radios allowed for a more simple fleetmap.

Most likely additional PD Tac's would be my guess. Are they encrypted or clear?

I'm also hearing traffic occasional on 1075 which appears to be some sort of ems related talkgroup. also occasionally 50102 which sounds to be fire related.

If I'm not mistaken, this type of system creates "dynamic patches" to communicate over multiple talkgroups simultaneously. I *think* those patch TGIDs could change from one time to the next as for as how they are used so tracking them as other than as a "patch talkgroup" probably doesn't make sense. However, I'm not there....

I do. I’m a fairly open book but anything related to encryption I will not disclose anything including the talkgroup name. They’re encrypted full time and serve no benefit to the public ear.

OK, so apparently they "flipped the switch" this week and moved all of fire/EMS over to the sew system.

And now it seems that all of my Whistler/RS scanners went silent. But my one Uniden scanner is still working. Anyone have any thoughts what might be programmed wrong?

The same thing has happened to me. I have a HP2 and have updated my fav list with the new info. Something isn't right....

A stretch but.... if the Whistler's aren't receiving, try changing the trunk site settings from Auto (fill) to Standard.... if the Unidens aren't working either then everyone must have been relying on the UHF until now and are seeing the effects of the simulcast (serious pain).
