York Region Trunk & Vaughan Fire

Vaughan Fire has been doing radio tests the last few days on A13 with what I think may be a different brand of radio. There's a definite squelch sound at the end of every transmission that isn't present on their current radios. Anyone know anything about this?

They're implementing a mobile repeater for locations where the trunk system has a poor signal (highrises, etc).
