Totally agree. I would imagine most general aviation pilots who do not know about the TFR in place and are basically out for a Sunday drive (fly) or just hop in the aircraft and fly VFR are not going to add 121.500 into the radios and are probably not concerned about it anyway. Unfortunately sometimes they have to learn the hard way. A fighter jet escort and being met by a police or USCG helo on the ground (or law enforcement vehicle of any sort) is probably not what they planned for when they departed.
Agreed. When I fly, the two radios are used for communication (COM1) and weather (COM2). I never think about putting 121.5 into COM2 while I'm out piddling around. This changes that mindset.

Biden is indeed in Wilmington this weekend and two fighters, along with one tanker continue to circle the area from early morn until late evening (dawn to dusk basically) whenever he is there, or at Camp David. The warning you heard is a standard warning heard many times, by pilots that wander into the restricted air space.

Thanks for the sighting and update.

i guess the idea here is the danger only exists in the daylight?

the house will be blacked out well before its dark outside, cause he'll already have turned in for the night?

have assassins gotten so lazy as to only work banker's hours now?

The airborne Combat Air Patrol is for aircraft and generally most general aviation pilots will fly in daytime VFR. Other general aviation and business aircraft are usually on flight plans and are controlled by ATC. Yes there are some VFR general aviation flights that occur after dark but the number is less than daytime VFR flyers. So technically the threat is probably considered less after sunset and before sunrise.

Unless the "assassins" are in an aircraft....then they are not the concern of the airborne units. That is the job of USSS ground units around the property.

I am sure they adjust the times of the CAP based on intelligence provided to NORAD and based on the intercepts handled recently they are performing the function for which they have been tasked.

yeah i guess it would be a lot of work to get trained to fly well enough to go VFR after dark. Far more difficult than low level precision flying of a commercial airliner at high speed into a target barely wider than its own wingspan.

but what do i know. i am not privy to the threat matrix.

well its a relief to hear that. you can bet if i was a neighbor and thought the F-15/F-16s were engaging ground targets, i would be well versed in the nuances of projectile dispersion from a 20mm rotary cannon.

and then i would put the house up for sale.

i'd make a joke about military intelligence here but as i am possessed only of civilian intelligence, i shall demure.

well I am sure the low level precision flying you speak about was either trained well or had other technology assistance
