I'm considering on getting the pro 82 and 2018 to monitor jackson and surrounding counties for when I am at WCU for classes. I know these two are low end scanners but I due to the ...severities of college life I figure these will be easier to replace than if my 97 or cherished 95 were to get damaged. IF anyone has used these and has an opinion on them please let me hear your opinion. Also if anyone has either of these for sale for cheap can you let me know​

your saying you already own a 95 and 97. the 83 is a good way to go if the systems your wanting are not trunked nor digital. i am very impressed with the 83 with size and performance and cost.
