Yupiteru mind boggling

Hi I`m a newb to all this, have been plane spotting and taking pictures for ages, and now want to get started with my scanner I bought second hand with no instructions.

Its a Yupitreu mvt 7000, I`ve found some instructions badly scanned online. But I can`t get it to change from marine to FM etc can anybody give me a simple starters walk through switching channels?!
I was just wanting to go onto FM so i could get used to scanning through channels which are easy to find and transmitting all the time, before saving air freqs.

Please help the newbie.

Maybe try this link for the yup 7100 manual, I think they're similar in operation and should probably get you started
