I'll start with some background. In my part of the U.S. I am very well versed in public safety communications. It's not something I am just familiar with as a hobbyist, but also in my work life.

Later this month I am flying from Denver (not where my trip originates from) to London VIA YYC on WestJet. I have a long layover at YYC. I understand that LE, my main interest as a cop, is encrypted in Calgary. What sites on the Alberta and Calgary trunked systems should I put in a radio to monitor fire and airport related talk groups during my layover?

Thanks for any information!

Most City Transit and Fire Department are on Calgary Municipal Radio Network.

For YYC itself, and some frequencies have same activity later at night, but I monitor Towers on 118.4 and 118.7.
Other active frequencies are 119.4, 119.8, 120.825, 121.3, 121.9, 123.85, 124.45, 125.9, 127.15, 127.775 [Edmonton Centre].

Airport Information [ATIS] is on 128.225. I also hear some Westjet activity on 136.7, 130.575.
