Zello Gateway - One way TX

I’ve been trying to get a Zello RF gateway working for a number of weeks but I am not being very successful. M

I am using Zello 2.6.0 with the config file SetGateway to true enabled

I can get Zello to TX across RF but I cannot get the received RF to TX across Zello

I have VOX enabled on the radio and have tried various VOX level settings

I have the VOX settings enabled on ZELLO (Radio to PC) and the correct COM port for the computer to the radio (PC to Radio).

I have tried allsorts of configurations, adjustments etc within ZELLO, but nothing. I just cannot get the radio to pass the audio that it receives into ZELLO

The interface is a U.K. built on from a guy who makes them and has sold them but cannot provide any after market support

Any help would be appreciated

This is what I used to get my zello gateway working.

1. Create a free Zello account which you will use for the gateway.
2. Add the account to one or more channels, where you want the gateway to connect.
3. In the list of contacts select those channels (hold Ctrl to select multiple), then use menu Tools > Create group… Enter “Zello Gateway” as group name and click OK. You must use that group name exactly.
4. Exit Zello app using Menu > Exit.
5. Locate Zello.config file. It’s normally can be found in Zello folder: AppData\Roaming\ZelloDesktop
6. Open the file in any text editor, locate attribute named SetGatewayMode and change its value to true.
7. Save the changed file.
8. Start Zello app. Now it will start in radio gateway mode and you can proceed to configuration of the gateway options under Tools > Options > Radio
