I have been monitoring this tower for a few days now. I have noticed that the OPP dont used the prescribed talk group plan. Transmissions for Killaloe, Pembroke and Renfrew are all grouped under the same talk group. (8544 I think)

Is this the norm?

From what I can gather from what I heard on the radio yesterday. 2OPS40 is no longer used for Renfrew County. Not sure why though. And like you say, everything seems to be on 2OPS21 The Upper Ottawa Valley tg. The tg's you'll wanna watch out for now I think might be 2OPS01 (8224) 3Bravo (Arnprior), 2OPS09 (8352) 3Foxtrot (Killaloe-Whitney), 2OPS18 (8496) 3Tango (Renfrew), and 2OPS21 (8544) 3Mike (Upper Ottawa Valley), Which they've been on as of late.

Perhaps they're making room for the latest additions to Zone 2.

Atleast I can still hear everything off the Beat.
