Being a new unication user what I would like is alot that has been already said but here are two that come to mind.
1. Have a headphone jack it could not be that hard.
2. how about a C type connection

I just love this pager.

Agreed on a type C connector. Every device these days should have one. Makes charging so much easier.

Headphone jack? Nope. I'd rather have water resistance over a headphone jack. I love the idea that you don't have to baby this device. Beat it up and rinse it off.

Why is that an issue? Are there not other jacks on this radio covered by a rubber boot?

My thought, too. There are plenty of water resistant and water proof electronic products on the market with several ports for connections...

The more ports that have to be sealed, the more chances one of those seals fail. I have had it happen with other weather resistant gear including a Samsung Galaxy S5 that was supposed to be waterproof.

I live in the Puget Sound region. I'm on or near the water very frequently. If anything, I'd like to see the USB port completely eliminated. Wireless charging with Bluetooth being used for programming.
