Hello,

On Sentinel for the 436:

Where is the Tab/setting for the internal batteries that allows
one to select a charging time in hours, and then an automatic charging
shutoff (without my intervention) ? And then downloading this setting o the unit.

Thanks,
Bob

There is no automatic charging shutoff as you describe. The radio simply charges for as long in hours as you set. It has no idea of battery condition or charge state.

If you have fully charged batteries, and put on charge, it will charge for x hours, whatever is set.

From OP: Setting No. Of Battery Hours Follwup, & Avoids Quest.

Hi,

Where in Sentinel do you actually set the number of hours it'll charge for ?
Or, must it be done in the radio menu directly (only) ?

Might as well also ask: If one is in Sentinel, and wants to change a very long list to AVOID, how
does one do it ? I can do it individually, but can't seem to find a way of doing a whole
column in one step.

As always, much thanks for all the help,
Bob

I normally just set it in the scanner menu:
Press the menu button on the side
Turn the knob on top to get to settings
Press down the know on top
Turn the know to Battery Options
Press the know on top
Turn the knob to Set Charge Time and press down on the knob
Use the number pad to enter the hours and press down on the knob to save
Keep pressing the menu button on the side to back out of menu until the scanner goes back to scanning

Enjoy
Mike

Right click on a cell with 'avoid' showing and copy.

Go to first cell to change and click, got to last cell and shift left click. All between 1st and last should be select.

Right click in the selection and paste.

Alternative:
Go to 1st cell and shift left click and drag down to select.
