Remote Programming

I am considering using a 536 for a remote feed and might have need to update the Favorites Lists from time to time.

My issue is that while the radio will default to Serial Mode if no button is pressed after a short time, how could I get it into Mass Storage Mode without being there to press the button?

If there is a way to do this then how could I restart the radio to get back to Serial Mode without being there?

You can't update programming remotely, because once you switch to mass storage mode, you lose the ability to remote control the scanner. So you can't remotely reboot the scanner to get out of mass storage mode.
