SDS100/SDS200: Sentinel for SDS100 doesn't have Ohio MARCS-IP

Unless I'm missing something the Sentinel Software for programming the SDS100 doesn't have the Ohio MARCS-IP Statewide trunked system in the database, it only has the old deprecated Ohio MARCS system in there.

Have you ever updated your database?

I just downloaded Sentinel version 2.00.02 yesterday and made the assumption that the database would be up to date. I did an update to the database and it's there now, thanks for the help, still a little bit new to the world of Sentinel.

The database included in the program installer is just a placeholder. The first thing you should do is update it. And firmware.

I downloaded Ohio Marc’s for Ashtabula county from Sentinel for my SDS100. I can not get it to just scan the county and not the entire state! I set talk groups and Ashtabula county Marc’s setting. When I down load to scanner it scan the state any ideas?

Have you set your current location settings and turned location control on?

Other option would be to remove all other sites after you add MARCS to a favorite list

Agreed.
You should have at least 3 tower sites
Geneva
Ashtabula
Lake Erie C.I.(Conneaut)
The rest you can “set avoid”.
But MARCS-IP you can pick up so many other counties why only scan the one ?

I'll guarantee it IS there.
OSP is not under the county but under Statewide Systems and then
Ohio MARCS-IP: Multi-Agency Radio Communications
then by OSP District (number)
